We are happy to announce that Angela Ward from Angela Ward Media has been named as Deputy Chair of our Board of Trustees, supporting our Chair, David Bartholomew.
Angela joined our Board a year ago and is a familiar face in the Tunbridge Wells corporate community, having written the Kent & Sussex Courier’s business section 20 years ago. She went on to set up the PR department at a local marketing agency and also spent time as PR Manager at a Kent hospice charity.
She’s been running Angela Ward Media for seven years and counts CooperBurnett LLP and Tester & Jones Funeral Services among her clients, while she also provides PR and social media support to the business forum enTWine Tunbridge Wells.
“The support Pickering provides to visitors – and their family and friends – makes a real difference,” says Angela. “I am so proud to be part of the Pickering family as a Trustee and am very proud to now be Deputy Chair.”
In her spare time, Angela loves cooking and travelling.
