Our Deputy Chair of Trustees, Angela Ward, visited GM Valentine Family Funeral Directors in St John’s Road to dedicate a couple of memorial candles in aid of the firm’s Silent Lights fundraiser for The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre.
Angela was given a card by Victoria Paine from GM Valentine, listing the number of each candle – so she’ll know where they are in the grounds of St James Church on Wednesday 10 December. That night, the church grounds will be filled with candlelight, warmth and remembrance, making what promises to be a really beautiful sight.
