We celebrated our 20th birthday in style with a wonderful party at The Spa Hotel and then celebrated our actual birthday (Tuesday 26 November) with cake and balloons in the Centre.
Named after the late local oncologist, Dr David Pickering, our Centre provides a safe, friendly and homely space for anyone impacted by cancer, as well as their friends and family.
Pickering originally opened its doors on Friday 26 November 2004 at the Homeopathic Hospital in Tunbridge Wells and, as the need for our services grew, we moved to our current home in Monson Road in July 2007.
