Leigh has completed part two of her Pickering Challenge #17 – the Bewl Water Dragon Boat Race!
She says: “It’s been an incredible day on the water and the Pickering Paddlers were absolutely oar-some! We reached the final and placed 4th overall from a field of 33 teams. Wowsers!
Thank you so much to our family and friends who paddled hard, managed the stalls, contributed bottles and made donations to my fundraiser. This has been a phenomenal challenge raising huge awareness of the Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre and vital funds. I’m feeling absolutely blessed to have such a wonderful team around me.
