This year marks our 20th anniversary here at The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre! To celebrate this special occasion, our wonderful supporter Leigh Stevens has set herself the goal of completing 20 challenges throughout 2024!
Yesterday she cast the first stone and completed challenge number 1 – taking a dip in the chilly sea at Eastbourne!
She’s inviting ideas for other challenges – although she is planning to cycle round town on a tandem for challenge number 2, while she wants to milk a cow for challenge 8 (maids a milking!).
Leigh says: “Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. If you are local to Tunbridge Wells and know of anyone who is affected by cancer in any way, please signpost them to The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre. There is no need to make an appointment, you can just drop in and chat with the supportive team.”
